The WP12 Blue Engine series diesel engines are marine energy-saving and environment-friendly diesel engines independently developed by Weichai in 2004. Targeting the operational characteristics and configuration requirements of marine power applications, these engines were developed with specialized optimizations based on an entirely new design concept.

They feature a compact structure, strong power, excellent fuel economy, and high reliability, making them the optimal matching power source for ships such as inland waterway vessels, fishing boats, official ships, yachts, and passenger ships. Their power range is 258kW - 405kW, and the speed range is 1500 - 2100rpm.
